Prairie Harvest is a community of people who….

Worship passionately in the freedom that Christ purchased for us. Our first calling is to be lovers of God and to minister to Him with extravagant joy and gratitude, with worship that is passionate, heartfelt and genuine. We maintain as our highest mandate: communion with God and the pursuit of His presence, from which all ministry flows.

Are an expression of God’s love to our community. Called to care for not only our church, but also our city. We strive to walk in the transforming power of God’s love and grace toward others. We want to demonstrate His love and justice, and to be a blessing to our city for its welfare.

Bring the reality of God’s Kingdom to the world around us. We believe every believer is called to be a supernatural minister of the gospel, on whom the Holy Spirit rests, and empowers to demonstrate His kingdom with signs & wonders following.

Walk in covenant relationship with one another and with God. We want to protect and preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of love and peace by providing a safe and wholesome environment for all. We invest in and uphold the values of: marriage, family and relationships.

Live a lifestyle of honor and servanthood; for we do not live merely for ourselves, but for the benefit of others. Therefore we are generous with our time, talents and financial resources and we invest in the lives of others that they might be empowered to live in the fullness of God’s grace.

Equip and send every believer to do the works of ministry and carry on the work of Jesus. We believe in the great commission and in the biblical five-fold ministry of Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers and Evangelists. We want to invest our resources to help others fulfill their calling, and to reach other nations and people groups with the message of the gospel.

Will create a culture and a legacy to pass on what has been entrusted to us, to the next generation. We are committed to the value of youth and children and want to invest in them as future stewards of what we build.

Place a high value on prayer and communion with God: We believe that all of what we do should flow from intimate and vital connection with God through prayer. As a result, we place prayer (both personal and corporate) as a high priority among staff, leaders and ministry activities

 STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE IN :

One God,
Eternal King
and Creator

One God, Eternal King and Creator,  perfect, holy and just, who expresses Himself in three persons: The Father, Son & Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 4:6)

The Bible, as the Holy Spirit inspired, infallible, authoritative word of God

The Bible, as the Holy Spirit inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God by which we obtain truth and wisdom for righteous living. (2Timothy 3:16)

Jesus the
Son of God

Jesus the Son of God,
was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and was God’s anointed one empowered to inaugurate God*s kingdom here on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, and was buried; resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven and is alive today in the presence of God the Father.     (1 John 4:15)

We are saved by God’s grace through faith

We are saved by God’s grace through faith; in the person of Jesus Christ, by whose death and shed blood we obtain the remission of our sins. That through conviction of sin, repentance and belief in Jesus Christ, anyone can be restored to right relationship with God, justified and accepted in Him. (Ephesians 2:8)

The sanctifying power of the
Holy Spirit

The sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit;
who’s indwelling presence enables each believer to live a holy life. We believe in the baptism of the Spirit which empowers us to be His witnesses and to minister supernaturally. (Acts1:4-8)

The redemptive work of the cross of Christ

The redemptive work of the cross of Christ; which provides victory, healing, deliverance, wholeness and freedom from sin, sickness and torment!

The Church consists of all those who put their faith in Jesus Christ

The Church consists of all those who put their faith in Jesus Christ. That He has given to us the ordinances of Baptism and Holy Communion, that the Church exists to be the expression of His nature and to carry out the ministry of Jesus here on earth; preaching the good news, discipling nations, undoing the works of darkness and teaching all to love and obey God.

The resurrection of the dead and the glorious returning of our Lord Jesus

The resurrection of the dead and the glorious returning of our Lord Jesus
for His church: That heaven and hell are real places; that there will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost; one unto eternal death and one unto everlasting life.
